HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM 

(AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN)

SUPPORTIVE SERVICES

The City of Shreveport (“City”), through its Department of Community Development, will accept Supportive Service proposals beginning Monday, September 9, 2024 with a deadline of Monday, September 30, 2024 for funding consideration under the HOME American Rescue Plan (HOME ARP) for eligible governmental and nonprofit entities. These funds are allocated by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The HOME ARP program is authorized by the Housing and Community Development (HUD) Act of 1974.  The purpose of the HOME ARP grant funds are to serve households who are at greatest risk of housing instability, including individuals and families experiencing homelessness and/or who are at imminent risk of becoming homeless.  

Qualified and experienced governmental entities and organizations with a 501© (3) nonprofit status with a minimum of one year experience providing related services are qualified to apply.

This is a competitive process by which applicants will be scored and evaluated on the merits of their proposal and application.
