This NOFA announces the opening of competition for the FY 2023 Federal Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) proposed funding through the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) administered by the City of Shreveport. Only organizations, with a 501 (C) (3) status, and a minimum of one year experience providing one of the following eligible activities, are eligible to apply: street outreach, emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, rapid re-housing assistance and home management information system (HMIS). All applicants must be a current member of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) to be considered for funding.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
You may access this NOFA beginning Monday, April 24, 2023, by going to www.shreveportla.gov and clicking on Department of Community Development and selecting grant proposals.
One original completed application plus three (3) copies must be received by 5:00 p.m., May 12, 2023 to the attention of Ms. Bonnie Moore, Director. Your application may be submitted by one of the following ways: hand deliver to the City of Shreveport, Department of Community Development, 300 Douglas Street (Millennium Studios) Shreveport, LA 71101, email to cdproposals@shreveportla.gov, with the subject line 2023 Federal Emergency Shelter Grant Application or mailed to Post Office Box 31109, Shreveport, LA 71130 to the attention of Bonnie Moore, Director.
