Caddo Parish residents whose homes were damaged or impacted by recent flooding can receive assistance all in one place today at a Multi-Agency Resource Center organized by the Northwest Louisiana Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD).

The Resource Center is open until 2 pm, at Southern University- Shreveport Gymnasium, 3050 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Free tetanus shots will be offered on site.

The Resource Center will also operate:

Friday, June 26, from 3pm – 7pm, at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, 1666 Alston Street

Saturday, June 27, from 10 am -2pm, at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, 1666 Alston Street

Individuals and families applying for assistance are required to bring identification showing proof of residence to be eligible for assistance from some agencies.
