At 10:10am today, the Louisiana Department of Health lifted the boil advisory issued on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 for customers in the following areas:
In the areas south of South Lakeshore Drive, West of Interstate 220 and North of Interstate 20.
All tenants of the 6205 Westport Ave. Center and 6730 Pines Road Center
Businesses in the 6700 Block of Pines Road Samples collected and analyzed from this area were shown to be absent of any coli-form bacteriological contamination.
After receiving the analytical results, an official of the Louisiana Department of Health approved the rescission of the voluntary boil water advisory. Those customers may now resume the normal use of their water supplied by the City of Shreveport.
