1. Why does my water have an odor?

There are several reasons why water has an odor or bad taste. During periods of dry weather the waters in Cross Lake (our drinking water) loses oxygen and needs to be aerated. The lines need to be flushed also to help the taste and odor.

2. How can I get a water leak repaired?

A water leak that is on the city's side of the meter can be reported to the 24-hour Emergency Dispatcher at 673-7600. The citizen is responsible for repairs on their side of the water meter.
