Posted on: June 21, 2017[ARCHIVED] Day long manhunt ends in arrest
The search for a local man wanted in connection with yesterday’s West 80th Street homicide has ended.
Just before 1:30 pm Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Investigators received information that led them to Travis L Jackson’s approximate location. Members of the Violent Crimes Unit along with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force and the U.S. Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force located Jackson and took him into custody following a traffic stop near the intersection of Southern Avenue and 70th Street in Shreveport.
Jackson was booked into the city jail on his outstanding warrant for 2nd Degree Murder
