NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY

2025 FEDERAL EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT PROGRAM


This NOFA announces the opening of competition for the FY 2025 proposed U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds under the Emergency Solutions Grant Program administered by the City of Shreveport. Only organizations, with a 501 (C) (3) status, and a minimum of one year experience providing one of the eligible activities, are eligible to apply. Only applicants who are members of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) will be considered. Funding available under the Emergency Solutions Grants Program can be utilized for the following activities: street outreach, emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, and rapid re-housing assistance.

The City of Shreveport, Department of Community Development, must be in receipt of the proposal complete with all attachments, on or before Friday, September 12, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. CST.


An informational workshop between representatives of The City of Shreveport, and prospective applicants under this ESG NOFA will be held on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. via Microsoft Teams. While attendance at this meeting is not mandatory, applicants will be responsible for all information covered.
