The City of Shreveport (“City”), through its Department of Community Development, is currently accepting public facility and public service proposals for funding consideration under the Community Development Block Grant Program-CARES ACT (CDBG-CV) for eligible governmental and nonprofit entities. 

PROJECTS FUNDED UNDER THIS GRANT MUST MEET ONE OF THE THREE NATIONAL OBJECTIVES AND MUST BE IMPLEMENTED TO PREVENT, PREPARE FOR AND RESPOND TO THE DIRECT AND INDIRECT EFFECTS OF THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC AND MITIGATE FUTURE RISKS. 

Each organization is limited to one proposal submission for only one activity category (Public Service OR Public Facilities) under this round of funding.
