The City of Shreveport (“City”) through its Department of Community Development, is currently accepting proposals for consideration under the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) for eligible governmental and nonprofit entities. These funds are allocated by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Act of 1974. Regulations governing this program can be found at 24 CFR 570.
Eligible activities are outlined in the provided application. Projects involving public facilities improvements and activities are NOT eligible under this NOFA. Priority scoring will be given to projects which have a tieback to blight elimination.
