Region 7 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

PY 2020-2024 Regional/Local Plan

The City of Shreveport Workforce Development Board (WDB) announces the DRAFT COPY with modifications of its Region 7 Regional/Local Plan for Title I of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The plan is available for review and public comments for a period of 30 days beginning June 2, 2021 and concluding on July 2, 2021.  The purpose of this Plan is to provide details on how services will be delivered to job seekers and business customers for the period of July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2024.

The Plan may be reviewed between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the City of Shreveport, Department of Community Development, 401 Texas Street, Shreveport, LA 71101.  The Plan will also be posted on the City of Shreveport’s website, click link here.
