CITY OF SHREVEPORT - 2022 Request for Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)

Architects, Engineers and Land Surveyors

Deadline:  Friday, December 09, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.


The City of Shreveport is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from experienced Architects, Engineers and Land Surveyors to provide professional engineering, land surveying, and architectural services required to upgrade/update plans and specifications owned by Community Development for the construction of single-family residential houses.  The city is planning to reconstruct 5–10 houses in 2022-2023.  Respondents must have at least three (3) years’ experience in comprehensive services.

Those interested must be an independent party, and above any suspicion of having a real or apparent conflict of interest with the City of Shreveport.  Respondents must be willing to comply with local procurement requirements and regulations governing federally funded programs, Southern Building Codes and other State and local code requirements, HUD’s Minimum Property Standards and Housing Quality Standards, handicapped accessibility requirements, where applicable, OSHA, EPA, and all applicable provisions of federal, state, and local regulations.  In addition, you must adhere to the City’s insurance requirements and additional requirements as deemed necessary. 

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All responses to the SOQ should be addressed to Mrs. Bonnie Moore at (318) 673-5901, email cdproposals@shreveportla.gov, Director; or for inquiries only, contact Marcia Nelson, Bureau Chief of Housing & Business Development at (318) 673-7528.  The SOQ should be hand delivered by 5:00 P.M.; or mailed and postmarked on or before, Friday, December 09, 2022.
