What is the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Services Program?
It is a program designed for out-of-school youth ages 16 -24 years old. This program offers career development programs and services that lead to training and employment for youth in Caddo Parish. The program is operated locally by local workforce development boards. The program is not operated by the school board.
How do we help?
Workforce Youth Program provides the following services:
- Assessment to determine skills, interests and abilities
- Individual Service Strategy outlining short and long term goals
- Opportunity to gain work experience
- Preparation for post-secondary educational opportunities
- Work/Career Readiness Training
Who should apply?
