BOIL WATER ADVISORY HAS BEEN LIFTED
At 9:45am today, the Louisiana Department of Health lifted the boil advisory issued on September 17, 2020 for customers in the following areas:
South of Greenwood Road, West of Hearne Avenue, North of Hollywood Avenue and East of Kennedy Drive.
The sample collected and analyzed from this area was shown to be absent of any coliform bacteriological contamination. After receiving the analytical results, an official of the Louisiana Department of Health approved the rescission of the voluntary boil water advisory. Those customers may now resume the normal use of their water supplied by the City of Shreveport.
