Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance (ABO)


Before engaging in the business of alcoholic beverages, all wholesale and retail dealers shall obtain from the City a current permit to conduct such business. No person shall, sell, barter, exchange, allow any person to consume alcoholic beverages on the premises, or do any other act for which a permit is required without first having obtained such permit.

Liquor & Beer License



Requirements for a liquor and beer license vary if you are a sole proprietorship, partnership, or corporation. Processing of the license application will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks. Fees are paid to the Revenue division which will issue the license.

All licenses expire one year from the date of license payment. No business can operate on a previous owner's license. Licenses cannot be moved to another address. Business must have a state and a city license before operating. Each new owner must apply for a new certificate of occupancy.
