Water Outages and Issues

Report Damage to your home or business to the State of Louisiana:  damage.la.gov

1.  Conserve Water
The Water Department is encouraging customers to turn on faucets only if there is not any running water. This will help the Department push out all the air on the line to allow the water pressure to flow. Also, if air is coming out of the faucets that could be a good sign and indicate water will soon follow. As soon as water service returns to your home turn off your faucet.

2. Clear water lines
All water customers are asked to conserve water during this time as work is done to restore all customers by limiting showers to 3 minutes, only wash clothes in full loads, no car washing and don’t leave water running while washing dishes, etc.  

3. Boil Advisory
Do not use water from any appliance connected to your water line. Before using water, bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute.  For questions about the boil advisory, call (318) 673-7654.
