Shreveport Mayor Cedric B. Glover announced today that the lease agreement between the City of Shreveport and MB, Industries, L.L.C. has been signed following its delivery on Tuesday from MBI officials. | “It has taken a while to get to this point but we got here and we are excited about the potential of this new operation and this new operator. MBI has already begun the process to hire employees, obtain the necessary approvals from state and local officials, and made noticeable improvements to the facility, with more to come,” said Mayor Glover. | Under the terms of the lease agreement, MBI will occupy the former “Beaird” facility located at 601 Benton Kelly Drive. |
