It’s not hot enough to dive into a pool, but the weather’s just right to play in the City’s newest Sprayground.

Wednesday April 30, 2008 at 4:00 pm, Shreveport Mayor Cedric B. Glover will “turn on the water” the Lakeside Park Recreation Center and officially open the City’s water playgrounds.

“This is exciting because it’s what the citizens of this neighborhood told us they wanted,” says Mayor Glover. “We met with them and it was their vision, to have a place where senior citizens could sit and enjoy the beauty of the area, a place where neighborhood children could play and where parents could enjoy some quality family time.”
