Acting as Mayor Pro Tem Shreveport City Councilman Ron Webb has directed City officials to appeal the Thursday, October 15, 2009 decision by the City’s Personnel Board which reinstated three (3) Community Development housing inspectors Ray Jones, Jackie Mandigo and Daniel LaCour. | “I am very disappointed with the board’s decision,” says Webb. “I just don’t feel good about sending these inspectors back to their same jobs under a cloud of distrust and impropriety. It was a tough decision but I feel it’s one I had to make.” | Webb is serving as Mayor Pro Tem in accordance with the City Charter that states that the Chairman of the City Council shall serve as Mayor Pro Tem and perform the duties of the mayor when the mayor is out of state. | Shreveport Mayor Cedric B.
