Shreveport Mayor Cedric B. Glover and some other US attendees have been delayed in their arrival for the first Caofeidian Forum to be held in the Chinese city of Tangshan in the Hebei Province. Weather complications on Tuesday effected Glover’s landing and departure from DFW airport. Weather conditions in San Francisco, California also complicated Mayor Glover’s arrival there and has delayed his and others departure for Beijing. The Mayor says he and wife Veronica have been graciously accommodated in San Francisco by their Chinese hosts and look forward to their departure for Beijing tomorrow.
