Today Shreveport Mayor Cedric B. Glover announced his use of the social networking application Twitter, making the following statement: | “I am excited to begin using Twitter as a way to foster more connectedness with my office among residents. So many great technological enhancements are allowing us to connect and communicate more efficiently, and I am eager to use this tool to keep citizens informed on the progress we’re making across our wonderful city. Today is a great time to begin as I travel to the U.S. Conference of Mayors Leadership Meeting in Seattle, Washington.
