Beginning Monday, June 15, 2009 at 7 a.m. the City’s utility contractor Wicker Construction, Inc. will be mobilizing heavy equipment and performing construction activities at the intersection of Mt. Zion Road and Box Road. | Construction will involve full lane closures, with all traffic being detoured to neighboring streets (Watts Road & Idema Street) for three days. Once reopened for traffic, Box Road will remain an inconvenience for continued off-road construction along the eastside right-of-way for approximately two weeks. | We ask all citizens to approach with caution and observe all traffic signs/devices and workmen in this vicinity. | For more information or questions call Gary Bordelon, Project Administrator, Office of the City Engineer @ 318.673.6073. |
