Shreveport Mayor Cedric B. Glover has called a Community Meeting for all residents of the Martin Luther King Jr. area Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 5:30 pm at Northside Elementary School. | In an open and public Q and A format, Mayor Glover will receive and share information with citizens of the MLK Community on a variety of issues and concerns affecting the community including, but not limited to, a proposed plan by Harrelson Materials Management to operate a municipal solid waste landfill or similar operations at the Russell Road site in North Shreveport. | Residents, businesses, church congregations, community and neighborhood organizations and concerned citizens are all encouraged to attend and get involved. | COMMUNITY MEETING | Thursday February 5, 2009 | 5:30 – 7:00 pm | Northside Elementary School | 1950 Northside Road, Shreveport |
