Area Basketball Teams/Fans:

     Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR) will host the 25th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Basketball Tournament February 22-24, 2013. This tournament is designed to unite men, women and youth of all ethnic backgrounds for three days of fun and community unity.  Over $3,000 of cash prizes and awards will be given to championship teams.

     The tournament is double elimination, with a single elimination championship game.  All team registration forms and fees must be received by Friday, February 15, 2013.  Registration Fees: $300 Pro-Am (Men), $200 Men (Recreation),  $175 Women, $150 Wheelchair, and $75 Middle School 15&U(Boys and Girls), $75 Youth 17&U, 12&U and 10&U.

     The MLK Jr. Basketball Tournament has become one of the elite basketball tournaments in the south.  Your team participation will truly enhance the quality of this tournament, while bringing people together for a common purpose.
