He is responsible for an operating budget of $1.9 million and a capital improvements budget which exceeds $150 million annually. Engineering Services is comprised of 40 employees. ENGINEERING SECTIONS AND AVAILABLE SERVICES Shreveport Standard Specifications for Streets and Storm Drainage and Water and Sewerage This includes standard specifications for materials and construction methods for public works improvements in the City of Shreveport. The Specifications book cost is $50.00 each and the Detail Specification book is $30.00 each. Books are available at the City Engineer's Office, Government Plaza, Suite 300, 505 Travis Street, Shreveport, Louisiana 71101.
