Anyone with information about someone illegal carrying a weapon can earn up to $500 by calling Crime Stoppers with information on who had a gun illegally. There are a number of illegal possession laws on the books -- some that citizens may or may not know about.

Here's a quick list of some of them:

* Carrying a concealed firearm without a permit

* Possession of a firearm or carrying a concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies

* Possession of a weapon on school campus, school bus or at school-sponsored functions

* Illegally supplying a felon with a firearm

* Possession of firearm on premises of alcoholic beverage outlet

* Possession of or dealing in firearms with obliterated number or mark

* Illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile (under age 17)

* Illegal carrying of a firearm at a parade with any firearm used in the commission of a crime of violence

Shreveport Police investigators need assistance in identifying two woman believed to have used a stolen credit card at a local Walgreens store.

On 11-25-2012, the victim was shopping at Walmart and left her purse unattended in her cart, when an unknown person(s) took her purse and, shortly thereafter, used her debit card at various locations throughout the city, including Walgreens at Greenwood and Jewella.  http://youtu.be/S3F11lWRDHc

Shreveport Fire investigators need assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for torching two offices at an apartment complex.

On Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at approximately 3:54 a.m., SFD responded to 1620 Fullerton Street on a structure fire at the office of the Villa Norte Apartments. Upon arrival, smoke and flames were seen coming from the manager's and leasing offices of the complex. Once the fire was extinguished, SFD Arson Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set in two separate locations causing moderate to severe damage.
