The Shreveport Police need the public's help in finding a man who has been missing since Valentine's Day. ***SPECIAL ALERT*** Shreveport Police detectives are searching for a local man in connection with three robberies that occurred in Shreveport’s Broadmoor neighborhood yesterday.At approximately 4:10 p.m. on February 15, 2010, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a robbery in the 100 block of Southfield Road. Upon arrival, officers contacted an elderly male victim who reported that as he picked up pecans in his front yard, a white male suspect approached him and demanded money. The victim told officers the suspect never displayed a weapon, but did threaten his life. The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the scene of the crime. An hour later, police responded to another robbery report in the 300 block of Levin Lane. Officers contacted an elderly male victim there who advised that a white male suspect had knocked on his door stating he was out of gas. The victim told officers that he was giving the suspect a ride to a gas station when the suspect pulled out a black handgun and demanded money. The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect jumped out of the vehicle. At approximately 7:30 p.m., patrolmen responded to the 600 block of E. Southfield Road relative to an attempted robbery. Upon arrival, officers contacted a female victim who reported that she was in her carport removing groceries from her vehicle when she was approached by a white male suspect armed with a box cutter. The victim told officers that the suspect grabbed her purse and a struggle ensued. The victim’s husband came outside and the suspect fled the scene of the crime without the purse. None of the victims were injured during these incidents. Detectives were immediately notified and began working to identify and apprehend this suspect. Investigators have been able to identify the man they believe is responsible for these crimes and have now obtained a warrant for his arrest. Police are looking for 34 year old Ronnie Bishop of the 8200 block of Paula Kay Place in Shreveport. Bishop is wanted on one count of attempted armed robbery and detectives anticipate more charges will follow. Bishop’s bond has been set at $250,000. disappearance of 12 year old Amber White. "We would like to thank all the citizens out there that called in those tips who helped

On 11/19/2009, in the 400 block of Herndon, a vehicle owned by the victim James Barker was taken from his possession at gunpoint. According to Mr. Barker, at approximately 9:20 PM, as he sat in the driver's seat making a phone call, he saw a young black male approaching his vehicle . The suspect pointed a black semi automatic handgun and ordered Barker out of the car, then took the vehicle and drove West on Herndon. The vehicle is a 1975 Chevy Monte Carlo, LA tag SCP 767, with 22" rims. Anyone having an knowledge of the identity of the suspect responsible for this crime is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers, 673-7373 or www.lockemup.org who will pay $500.00 for information leading to the recovery of the vehicle and/or the arrest of the suspect. ***SPECIAL ALERT***
Yesterday morning a black male wearing a black pull-over hoodie and black dickie pants pulled a 15 year black female behind a vacant house in the 1900 block of Linear and began trying to tear her clothes off. Despite the fact the black male was armed with black Semi-Automatic Handgun the 15 year old fought off her attacker and was aided by a passerby who saw the struggle. When the good Samaritan stopped to help the girl her attacker fled north on Linear toward Martin Luther King Dr. The suspect is described as a black male 35 to 45 years of age, with a slender built between 120 and 150 pounds. He is tall and has brown eyes. Anyone who can identify the suspect or may know who can is asked to call the detectives office at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373. ***SPECIAL ALERT***

hours on 6/11/09 broke into Dollar General Store on Line avenue to commit a burglary. This and possible
other suspects attempted to defeat the alarm system before gaining entry but were unsuccessful and were
