Shreveport Police releasing video of armed robbery suspects

Shreveport Police are releasing surveillance video of a pair of suspects who robbed a convenience store last week.

At approximately 9:48 p.m. on December 21, 2009, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the PS Express in the 900 block of W. 70^th St. A witness told investigators that a black male suspect approximately 5’6” to 5’7” tall, wearing a camouflage hooded jacket, dark jeans and white tennis shoes armed with a small, silver semi automatic handgun entered the store and demanded money from the clerk while the second suspect, described as a black male approximately 5’8” to 5’9” tall, wearing all black clothing with a black mask on his face armed with an assault style rifle stood at the door of the business.. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money from the business, the suspects fled the scene of the crime on foot. No one was injured during this robbery.

Detectives are now releasing surveillance footage of the two armed bandits in an effort to identify the suspects. The video will be in the media box at the patrol desk.
