Detectives search for shooting suspect

Shreveport Police detectives are looking for a man wanted in connection with a shooting that took place earlier this week on Malcolm St.

Following an in-depth investigation, detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for 24 year old Travale Henson charging him with one count of attempted first degree murder. The warrant has a bond of $500,000. Back on December 21, 2009 at approximately 6:15 p.m., Henson reportedly shot 18 year old Christopher Boone in the 2600 block of Malcolm St. Boone was subsequently transported to LSUHSC with what has been described as a non life threatening gunshot wound.

Investigators believe the shooting stems from an ongoing dispute between the two men. Travale Henson’s last known address was in the 1200 block of Flanagan Dr. in Longview, Texas. Detectives warn that Travale Henson should be considered armed and dangerous.
