Family Dollar robbed

Shreveport Police need your help in identifying and apprehending a suspect who robbed a Family Dollar store in Shreveport’s Highland neighborhood.

At approximately 9:11 p.m. on November 28, 2009, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Family Dollar in the 500 block of King’s Hwy. A witness told investigators that a male suspect, accompanied by a female suspect, entered the store, produced a black semi-automatic handgun, and demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint. The suspects, described as a black male wearing all black with a black hoodie, and a black female wearing a black and grey sweater with light blue jeans and sunglasses, received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store together in what has been described as a dirty, older model white Oldsmobile with tinted windows and no license plate. No one was injured during the robbery.
