Shreveport Police looking for homicide suspect

Shreveport Police detectives are looking for a local woman wanted in connection with a murder that occurred last month.

Detectives have an arrest warrant for second degree murder outstanding for 20 year old Tisha Watson of the 100 block of Allen Ave. in Shreveport. The warrant has a bond of $100,000. Back on October 30, 2009 at approximately 4:40 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of Sprague St. relative to a shooting. Upon arrival there, officers discovered 42 year old David J. Daniels suffering from several gunshot wounds. Daniels was transported to LSUHSC by the Shreveport Fire Department where he was pronounced deceased.

During the course of their investigation, detectives were able to develop Tisha Watson as a suspect and subsequently obtained the warrant for her arrest. Investigators believe Watson may have fled the Shreveport area.
