Shreveport Police arrest suspect, look for other victims Shreveport Police have arrested a local man for entering a residence without permission and are now looking for other possible victims.
On July 30, 2009, at approximately 3:50 a.m., Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a home in the 6200 block of Dillingham Ave. relative to a male suspect entering the residence without permission. Officers arrested 19 year old Tyrone Winbush of the 6100 block of Lexington Ave. in Shreveport and booked him into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. During the course of this investigation, officers recovered a pink Polaroid digital camera, a black and silver Apple IPOD, and a cell phone. Detectives believe that these items are possibly stolen, but have been unable to locate any reports.
Detectives are now looking for anyone who might have had items like those listed above stolen and not reported the theft. It is possible that the owner may not even realize the items have been stolen. The pink Polaroid digital camera has pictures on it of a trip to a beach, as well as some type of family gathering. A picture from the camera has been included with this release as part of our effort to locate the rightful owner of this property and return it to them.
Anyone with any information regarding these items is urged to call Shreveport Police Detective Chuck Thompson at 318-673-6985. -spd- View all SPD press releases at www.shreveportla.gov |
