Shreveport Police seek robbery suspect
Shreveport Police need your help in locating a man wanted in connection with the attempted armed robbery of a local business.
Shreveport Police detectives are looking for 18 year old Jonathan Lewis of the 3800 block of Cleveland Ave. in Shreveport relative to a warrant outstanding for his arrest charging him with one count of attempted armed robbery. There is a $75,000 bond attached to the warrant. Detectives believe Jonathan Lewis attempted to rob the owner of Mitchell’s Transmission, located in the 3100 block of Morningside Dr., back on July 9, 2009. The business owner shot and wounded one of the suspects and that suspect, 20 year old Derrick Glover, has already been charged with one count of attempted armed robbery. Jonathan Lewis is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds.
