Shreveport Police detectives seek shooting suspect

Shreveport Police detectives have secured an arrest warrant for a Shreveport man in connection with an early morning shooting in west Shreveport.

At approximately 2:58 a.m. this morning, 35 year old Reginald D. Martin was shot several times in the 4400 block of F and M Court following a dispute with at least three men over a cell phone. Martin was transported to LSUHSC by the Shreveport Fire Department with what have been described as serious but non life threatening wounds.

Detectives have now identified one of the men they believe to be responsible for shooting Reginald Martin. Investigators are looking for 44 year old Charles "Big Chuck" Morgan, who has a warrant outstanding for his arrest charging him with one count of attempted second degree murder. Morgan is described as a black male, 5'10" tall weighing approximately 210 lbs. and has an address listed as 4128 Jacob in Shreveport. Detectives are still working to identify the other suspects involved in this crime.
