Shreveport Police investigating robbery

Shreveport Police need your help in identifying and apprehending a pair of suspects who robbed a west Shreveport convenience store yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 5:29 p.m. on July 7, 2009, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Texaco Store in the 9400 block of Mansfield Rd. A witness told investigators that a black male suspect entered the store and, after purchasing a small item, produced a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store on foot. Another male suspect, described only as a black male, did not enter the store, but stood outside, possibly acting as a lookout. No one was injured in the robbery.
