Shreveport man wounded in stabbing Shreveport Police are investigating a stabbing that sent a local man to the hospital with a laceration to the arm.
At approximately 8:57 p.m. last night, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1400 block of Oakdale St. relative to a stabbing. Upon arrival there, officers discovered a substantial amount of blood in the home and were told by witnesses that a male victim had been stabbed by a female suspect during an argument and that the victim had fled the scene. A short time later, 22 year old Greg Miles arrived at LSUHSC in a private vehicle to seek treatment for what has been described as a non life threatening knife wound to the left forearm.
Miles was initially hesitant to provide information to detectives, but later advised investigators that the female suspect is known to him and the stabbing was an accident. Detectives are still investigating this case.
Anyone with any information regarding this stabbing is urged to call Shreveport Police detectives at 318-673-6955 or CrimeStoppers at 318-673-7373. -spd- View all SPD press releases at www.shreveportla.gov |
