Shreveport Police working to identify suspect in liquor store robbery

Shreveport Police need your help in identifying and apprehending a suspect who robbed an area liquor store last night.

At approximately 9:13 p.m. on July 5, 2009, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the National Liquor Bank in the 700 block of W. 70^th St. Upon arrival, officers learned that a black male suspect, approximately 6’0” tall, thin build, wearing a black long sleeved t-shirt, dark pants, and white and black tennis shoes, entered the store armed with a small semi-automatic handgun. The suspect forced employees and patrons to get on the floor and then robbed the business of an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled the scene of the crime on foot.
