Shreveport Police seeking armed robbery suspects Shreveport Police need your help in identifying and apprehending two suspects who attempted to rob a convenience store today.
At approximately 10:45 a.m. this morning, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a report of two armed men entering the A-1 Quik Stop located in the 3800 block of Linwood Ave. As officers arrived on scene, they learned that two armed men had indeed entered the store and as they apparently attempted to rob the store, an employee produced a handgun and shot once at the suspects. The suspects then fled the scene of the crime. Based on witness statements, officers detained two possible suspects, but further investigation led detectives to believe that they were not involved in the attempted robbery and they were subsequently released. No one was injured in the robbery.
Detectives are now seeking two male suspects in the attempted armed robbery of the A-1 Quik Stop. The suspects are described as a black male with a white mask or t-shirt wrapped around his face, armed with shotgun and a black male long wearing a long-sleeved white shirt, black mask, armed with handgun.
Anyone who has any information regarding this robbery is urged to call Shreveport Police detectives at 318-673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
