Shreveport police officer terminated

A Shreveport Police officer has been terminated by Chief Henry Whitehorn.

Ronald Debello was terminated by Chief Whitehorn for violation of department policies. Shreveport Police detectives charged Debello on May 28, 2009 with one count of simple criminal property damage in connection with a complaint received by the department back on May 2, 2009.

Debello, who joined the Shreveport Police Department in February 2006, has been on administrative leave.
