Shreveport Police identify, seek robbery suspect

Shreveport Police need your help in locating a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery in west Shreveport last week.

Shreveport Police detectives are looking for 21 year old Victor Johnson of the 7200 block of Beaufort Way in Shreveport. Detectives have an arrest warrant outstanding against Victor A. Johnson in connection with the robbery of the Bancorp South branch in the 6800 block of Pines Rd. back on June 18, 2009. The warrant has a bond of $300,000. Johnson entered the bank at approximately 11:15 a.m. armed with a handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of money. Victor A. Johnson is described as a black male, approximately 5’9” tall, weighing approximately 165 lbs. Detectives believe Victor A. Johnson should be considered armed and dangerous.
