Police Pastors to hold Youth Activity Day

The Shreveport Police Department’s Police Pastors will be holding one of their celebrated Youth Activity Day events this Saturday at Southern Hills Metro Park.

The Youth Activity Day is a unique opportunity for the Police Pastors to give something back to the children of our city and allow kids from ages 6 to 15 years old to interact with law enforcement officials in a safe, non-traditional environment. There will be face painting, games, and prize giveaways, as well as free hot dogs and cold drinks.

The event is being held at the Southern Hills Park located at 1002 Bert Kouns and will run from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. For further information, please call the Shreveport Police Department’s Community Oriented Policing Bureau at 318-673-6950.
