Shreveport Police looking for theft suspect Shreveport Police detectives need your help in locating a woman wanted for bilking an elderly victim out of a large sum of money. Detective John Stratton has an arrest warrant outstanding for 27 year old Towanda Daughtry of the 600 block of Kingridge in Shreveport, charging her with theft of assets of an aged or disabled person and false personation of a peace officer. Daughtry, who also has an alias of Tawanda or Tiawanda Jones, is accused of cheating an elderly victim out of a considerable amount of money. When her victim refused to give her any more funds, she passed herself off as a detective with the Shreveport Police Department and intimidated the victim so that she continued to receive money. The victim eventually reported these incidents to police and detectives subsequently identified Daughtry as the suspect. Towanda Daughtry is described as a black female approximately 5’8” tall, weighing 180 lbs.
