Update on suspected wanted for Attempted 1st Degree Murder

On Monday at approximately 8:25 PM, fugitive Johnathan Thomas turned himself into CCC after seeing himself on television multiple times. The media's widespread coverage of Thomas' outstanding status made if difficult for him to seek refuge from police. Thomas was identified using a closed circuit TV and other witnesses as the person responsible for attacking a casino patron with a brick and stealing his truck. Thomas was also wanted in Bossier for purse snatching at another casino.

Shreveport Police Investigators are searching for a suspect who is wanted for Attempted 1st Degree Murder of a patron at a local casino's parking garage.

Wanted by police is Johnathan Thomas, AKA "Boogaloo", b/m, 1-16-88, who, on April 17th, assaulted a patron of a local casino as the patron walked to his vehicle in the casino's parking garage. Johnathan Thomas followed the victim from the garage elevator to the victim's struck, struck the victim multiple times with a brick, stole the victim's wallet and truck. Video surveillance captured Thomas as he struck the victim and as he exited the parking garage using the victim's truck.

The suspect is also wanted by Bossier City Police for physically assaulting a woman and stealing her person at another local casino in Bossier City.
