Wanted Suspect in custody

Today at approximately 2:45 pm today, fugitive Andre Palmer, b/m, 8/5/71, turned himself into CCC. Palmer fled the area to avoid capture after Shreveport Police Investigators developed Palmer as the prime suspect in the fatal shooting of Raymond Wright on April 21st. Shortly after the shooting a massive search was conducted by area law enforcement agencies including the U.S. Marshal's Service and it was believed Palmer may have fled to Grand Prairie Texas.

Due to the combined efforts and increased vigilance of local law enforcement, Grand Prarie law enforcement authorities and the US Marshal's Service, Palmer's options of hiding became very limited. Palmer chose to turn himself in to avoid capture. He was booked into CCC for 2nd Degree Murder.
