Police seek 2 juveniles for recent homicide

The Shreveport Police need the public's help in finding two juveniles who they believe were involved in a shooting last night.

Patrol units responded to the 1900 block of Patzman in reference to a shots fired call. Upon arrival officers found the victim lying in the parking lot of the Canaan Village apartments with a gun shot wound to his lower back.

The victim was transported to LSUMC, and later pronounced deceased.

Numerous witnesses were interviewed it was learned that Paul Jones, Black Male 16 years old and Josh Brooks also a 16 year old black male had gotten into a verbal altercation with the victim and other juveniles several days prior.

Orders to Take Into Custody were acquired for the arrest of Josh Brooks and Paul Jones. The Orders were signed by Honorable Judge Young at Juvenile court.
