Robbery Suspect Sought

Shreveport Police Investigators need assistance in identifying a lone gunman who, on 4/6/09, entered the Dollar General, 8051 Line Avenue, armed with a silver semi-automating handgun and demanded money from the clerk at the register. When the clerk had trouble opening the register, the suspect fired a single shot from the handgun missing the clerk by a few inches. The suspect exited the store and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a B/M, stocky build, late 20's/early 30's, medium height, wearing a black knit cap, a black zip up jacket with two grey stripes on each side of the zipper, black shorts that went to his mid-calf, black and white athletic shoes.
