Chief Whitehorn reacts to Justice Department, District Attorney’s Findings

Shreveport Police Chief Henry Whitehorn has received notification from the Justice Department and the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office of their findings regarding former Shreveport Police Officer Wiley Willis.

Chief Whitehorn remarked that, “The notifications from the Justice Department and the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office speak for themselves. The fact of the matter remains the same as it did and that is I simply will not tolerate any type of misconduct on the part of my officers. Officer Willis was terminated for violation of departmental policies and due to possible appeals and litigation; I cannot be more specific about this case.”
