Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force seizes narcotics, guns, and money

The Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force has arrested two suspects and seized narcotics, guns, and money in connection with a search warrant executed last night.

At approximately 7:30 p.m. on March 4, 2009, agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant on a residence in the 2100 block of Perrin St. in Shreveport. The warrant came as a result of an investigation into illegal activities reported at that location. Agents seized several items commonly associated with the manufacturing of “crack” cocaine, 4.3 grams of “crack” cocaine, approximately $21,000.00 cash, and 2 handguns.

Agents arrested 32 year old Alvin Robinson of the 2100 block of Perrin St. and charged him with manufacturing and distribution of a Schedule II narcotic and possession of a Schedule II narcotic. 29 year old Vasha Grant of the 2000 block of Perrin St. was arrested as well and charged with manufacturing a Schedule II narcotic, possession of a Schedule II narcotic with intent to distribute, and illegal carrying of weapons.
