Shreveport Police seek public’s help in robbery

Shreveport Police need your help in identifying a man who robbed a video store this afternoon.

Shortly after 2:00 PM this afternoon a black male walked into the Blockbuster in the 800 block of Pierremont wearing a long black coat with a hood, black jeans, and white tennis shoes. The suspect browsed in the store for approximately 20 minutes and then approached the cashier, telling her he would not hurt her if she gave him the money.

The suspect forced the cashier to give him an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and subsequently fled the business on foot. .
