Police seek suspect in hit and run

Shreveport Police detectives have obtained an arrest warrant in connection with a hit and run that occurred back on November 27, 2008.

On November 27, 2008, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to the 7200 block of Westport relative to a deceased person near the roadway. Investigators responded to the scene and determined that the victim, 39 year old Brian Lacey, had been struck by a vehicle. Evidence was recovered at the scene.

On January 9, 2009 detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of 25 year old Rickey Greer, Jr. for the offense of hit and run.
