Sgt. Robert Ellis Medical Fund Ceremony Press Release

The McDonald's Companies involved today's fund raiser for the Sgt. Robert Elllis Medical Fund would like to invite members of the media to a check presentation on Monday Dec. 22nd at the Shreveport Police Complex.

On Friday, December19th, all the McDonald's in Shreveport and one in Bossier City donated a portion of their proceeds to the Sgt. Robert Ellis Medical Fund. Sgt. Ellis, an 18 year veteran of the Shreveport Police Department, has been struck by a debilitating illness that has in turn caused a financial hardship for his family.

The presentation will be held in the Police Assembly Room located on the second floor of the Police Complex. The ceremony is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
